The ATV clubs of the Upper Kennebec Valley have developed extensive trail systems…
…that give riders the opportunity to experience all types of terrain and provide access to areas that would not otherwise be accessible. Trails are well marked and so are restricted areas. Clubs are constantly working with landowners large and small to develop more trails. Riders can travel all the way from Solon to the Canadian border. Those that are familiar with northern Somerset County for their winter riding on snowmobiles will be happy to know that many of the same trails are available to ATV riding in the Upper Kennebec area. Ride the back country and see nature at its best, and don’t forget to say thanks to the local clubs and the landowners that make all this possible. Opening day is May 15 of the current year.
