The Forks Area Chamber of Commerce is organized for the purpose of advancing the economic, industrial, civic and general interest of the communities in the trade area of US Route 201 corridor from Solon to Jackman and Routes 6/15 to Rockwood, Greenville and Abbot.

The Dead and Kennebec Rivers are well known for the best whitewater rafting and fishing in the northeastern United States. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, lakes, ponds and rivers, The Forks offers a spring and summer of endless opportunities. In the fall, the foliage in our area along our scenic byway and these beautiful rivers is a leaf peeper’s paradise second to none. The Forks is also host to many sportsmen for the Maine tradition of hunting, either self-guided or with a Registered Maine Guide.

Winter brings Maine’s best snowmobile trails, snowmobile rentals and the amenities to support them. Winter in The Forks area is also a great place for cross country skiing, ice fishing or snowshoeing.
