The Sterling Inn is a historic Bed & Breakfast located on The Old Canada Scenic Byway in the Upper Kennebec Valley along the Kennebec River. The area is best known for its whitewater rafting and fantastic snowmobiling. The Inn is one mile south of the Appalachian Trail and has many other great day hikes nearby. Snowshoeing, boating, fishing, swimming, and hunting are other wonderful acitivities available from the Inn. Snowmobilers can access the ITS right from the backyard.
The Inn has 17 private bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a large dining room, 2 living rooms and a large wrap around porch for our guests to enjoy. The Inn can make arrangements for rafting or snowmobile rentals.
The cozy living rooms have wood stoves and provide a great place for guests to gather for a home away from home feel.
