Directions: North or south on route 95, take exit 36. This is route 201 go north approximately 65 miles to the Kennebec River Bridge. Take a right just before the bridge onto the Lake Moxie Road, go 5 miles to Lake Moxie and take a left. Cross over 2 one lane bridges and proceed 8 miles on the dirt road to Indian Pond Campground.

To support and enhance public recreation, FPL Energy Maine Hydro owns and operates Indian Pond Campground. The campground has 27 campsites at the southerly end of Indian Pond.Four sites have tent platforms while 23 sites have drive in set ups for tents, trailers and self-contained units. A picnic table and fire ring is provided at each site (no hook ups are available). An RV dump station is provided free of charge and a drilled well provides water for campers. Additionally, 21 water access primitive campsites are located and maintained around the shore and on several islands on Indian Pond. A single room camp, a two bedroom house and a three bedroom house are also available for year round weekly rental. The company also provides a public boat launch and a day use picnic area adjacent to the campground. All facilities are handicap accesible including the coin operated showers and laundry.
